Buffalo 27's #2: "City of Light"

The newest design in our 27’s line touts our city’s rich history. In 1901, Buffalo was awash with electricity delivered by Niagara Falls and its Westinghouse generators, and gave itself a boastful, proud title. Over 100 years later, we’re making a comeback and are ready to once again be a “City of Light.”

The Need

The Amanda Hansen Foundation: creates resources to supply the public with CO detectors who could not otherwise afford them; educates, as to the real and imminent dangers of CO poisoning, its causes, and it's prevention through the proper use of detectors, and proper installation/maintenance of household appliances; works hand in hand with local and national organizations to future educate and promote awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide; aims to enact local as well as national legislation to mandate that all buildings, both private and public, be equipped with CO detectors, without exception.
