The Need

It started out as a normal day on August 29th for Brett Osborn, a father of 3. He went to work as normal and then it happened, at 49 Brett had struggled with diabetes since the age of 22, but he was not prepared for the massive heart attack he would suffer that day, nor the stroke that would hit on the way to the hospital in the ambulance. Brett needed an open heart surgery, but on top of all that had already happened, it was determined that he was allergic to the heparin that would need to be used during the surgery. They had done a heart catheterization and the dye used for the test which is filtered through the kidneys had done its damage. Brett's kidneys had shut down and he was placed on dialysis. After spending several months in the hospital, they finally found a surgeon willing to perform the heart surgery. In the meantime, the company that Brett lost his job and was forced to go on disability and Medicare. Please consider a shirt purchase, or donation to his online fundraiser.
